AIDS WALK NEW YORK

The NYC Gay Basketball League will be walking this year, for the first time!

The walk is on Sunday, May 18, 2008 in Central Park.

Our AIDS Walk Coordinator is our very own Ben Sulds.
Here is a message from Ben:

Hey Everyone!!

My name is Ben and this is my first season with in the New York City Gay Basketball League.
I have been participating in AIDS WALK every year since high school. This event is a wonderful way to raise
money for such an important cause, and at the
same time get some fresh air and spend time with your teammates.

I encourage each of you to participate by helping
to raise money for the cause and walk with the NYCGBL Team on Sunday, May 18th. Friends and family are all welcome to join us! The more
you raise, the better. But remember, even the smallest donations are good. Our goal for our first year is to raise $5,000. Let's make this happen!

Please contact me at awny@nycgaybasketball.org
or (917) 355-8624 anytime after 9pm or on weekends.

Thanks!

Benjamin Sulds

GLAAD Survey

LGBT Community Leader and Friend,

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) kindly requests your help. GLAAD is presently in a pro-bono consulting engagement with Bain & Company to determine how GLAAD can serve the LGBT community more effectively.

We would like to find out what the LGBT community thinks about the current state of the LGBT rights movement and the most effective ways to reach equality. We need your help disseminating the survey link below. We ask that you pass this e-mail on to members of LGBT organizations that you are a part of as well as to LGBT friends and colleagues. We also ask that you take the survey yourself; the survey takes about ten minutes to complete.

http://deploy.ztelligence.com/start/index.jsp?PIN=139XYTZAX2RG9

All survey responses will go directly to Bain & Company and will be confidential. Please note that the survey will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2008.

With your help, GLAAD will be able to better serve the needs of the LGBT community. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to e-mail christopher.lapinig@bridgespan.org. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Christopher Lapinig
